Embracing working with new people, she thrives on bringing strong teams of like-minded creatives together to produce powerful work through the various visual mediums, from photography to architecture and interiors, film to art, and music to costume.

Dawn is a dynamic and enthusiastic architectural assistant and designer who has a wide experience and education in fashion, textiles, architecture and digital design, with an intellectual curiosity to explore and define the future of home design, commercial design, and human interaction with the built environment, within a challenging studio environment.

She am eager to work within a design team, to learn and use my transferable skills, striving for quality and inspired designs to galvanise audiences. She specialises in predicting trends and designing successful, sustainable and futuristic award winning designs.

Her architecture degree was foundation for her love of design and conceptual thinking. This allowed Dawn to expand her repertoire and pursue different fields of design in her studies and working life, gaining transferable skills in design and now returning to the industry of Architecture.

Dawn completed my RIBA Part I Logbook working in fast paced Architecture firm, taking responsibility for communications between architects, clients, contractors, designing leisure industry facilities, schools, and completing CAD technical drawings, design details, mood boards and tile schedules for the £35 million upgrade to the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Edinburgh.

Dawn’s fascination with structure, technical drawing and conceptual ideas in fashion lead her to study Footwear Design for Young Professionals at Central Saint Martins in London, she then ran her own online footwear brand for five years, where she developed her skills further as a multidisciplinary designer.

Dawn worked as a freelance designer in Scotland and in Canada for 2.5 years. Her experience varies from in-house photographer for fashion brands to commercial projects and creative direction on set of photoshoots and music videos, as well as social media management, marketing campaign planning and execution, and giving creative direction across all facets of branding and image.
